How Fortunate!
How blessed we are!
How marvelous creation!
How mighty are your works, our God!
Ancient of Days!
How Fortunate!
How blessed we are!
How marvelous creation!
How mighty are your works, our God!
We bring You praise!
Blessed, the nation whose God is The Lord!
Blessed are those whose strength is in the Lord!
Blessed, the man whose ways are blameless
for
He will sing your praise forevermore.
So we close our eyes
Take a deep breath in
As the masterpiece unfolds

Did you recognize the verses that I used to think my way through writing Fortunate?
The chorus section progresses inward; from nation, to group of people, to the individual.
"Blessed the nation" is from Psalms 33:12, where it says Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord
"Blessed are those" is Psalms 84:5, Blessed are those whose strength is in you"
"Blessed the man"-Psalms 119:1 says Blessed are they whose ways are blameless.
My tip for the budding songwriter. . . .read the Bible. It has great lyric ideas.
Can I be sued for plagiarizing God?
Listen to Fortunate and download it so you can take it with you! Don't forget to listen for the 'reign' at the end. . . .
